Frequently Asked Questions

1. Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, our formulations are dermatologically developed to be effective yet gentle. However, since we use high percentages of active ingredients, we recommend patch testing before full use—especially for first-time users of retinol, acids, or post-laser products.

2. Can I use your Retinol Serum or Eye Cream every night?

If you’re new to retinol, start with 2–3 nights per week and gradually increase as tolerated. Always apply at night, and follow with moisturizer. Daily SPF is essential while using any retinol product.

3. I’m pregnant or breastfeeding. Can I use your products?

We do not recommend using retinol-based products or Glycobrighten Plus Cream during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Dermal-E Ointment may be used with physician approval.

4. What’s the best routine to follow with your products?

Here’s a simple guide:

AM Routine:

  1. Gentle Cleanser
  2. Glycobrighten Plus Cream (on pigmentation spots only)
  3. Moisturizer
  4. Broad-spectrum SPF

PM Routine:

  1. Gentle Cleanser
  2. Retinol Serum (face) or Eye Cream (under eyes)
  3. Glycobrighten Plus (optional, if alternating with retinol)
  4. Moisturizer
  5. Dermal-E Ointment on irritated or post-laser areas

Alternate nights between Retinol and Glycobrighten if using both.

5. Can I layer multiple actives together?

We suggest avoiding simultaneous use of strong actives like retinol and acids (e.g., Glycobrighten) on the same night to reduce risk of irritation. You may alternate between them on different nights.

6. Are your products fragrance-free?

Our formulas are free of synthetic perfumes. However, some contain naturally aromatic esters (e.g., Benzyl Cinnamate) for mild, functional scent.

7. How soon can I apply Glycobrighten or Retinol after a laser procedure or peel?

Wait at least 5–7 days post-procedure, or until your skin is fully healed and non-irritated. Begin with Dermal-E Ointment immediately post-treatment for recovery, then transition to brightening or retinol products gradually.

8. Can I wear makeup over Glycobrighten Plus Cream?

Yes! Glycobrighten has a light, elegant texture that layers well under makeup.

9. Do I need to use sunscreen with these products?

Absolutely. Daily use of SPF 30+ is mandatory when using any active products—especially those with Retinol, Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid, or AHAs.

10. Are your products cruelty-free?

Yes, our products are not tested on animals and are ethically sourced from trusted U.S. labs.
